In Japan, Valentine's Day is regarded as the event in which women give men chocolate to show their affection.
But recently it's been too commercialized, so various styles have derived.
  • 本命チョコ(honmei choco): chocolate for someone you really care for
    • e.g. crush or boyfriend
  • 友チョコ(tomo choco): chocolate for friend
  • 逆チョコ(gyaku choco): chocolate given by a boy to a girl

It's more common to call it 3秒ルール (sanbyou rule: three-second rule) than five-second rule.

嗜み: accomplishment, appearance, manner

"Still" is written as スチル in Katakana.

●今日の夕飯は屋台で済ませるか。
 Kyou no yuuhan ha yatai de sumaseru ka
― I guess we'll have dinner at one of the food stalls tonight.

罰ゲームでデート中の悪友同士。
 Batsu game de date chuu no akuyuu doushi
― They don't get along, but they had to go on a date as a game penalty.

悪友 means "bad company", but it's also used to mean "good buddy."

Some people can put on a yukara, but only a few people can get dressed up in kimono.

●校門をよじ登りながら寝ている人がいる!

― Someone fell asleep while trying to climb the school gate!

よじ登る: shin up

When Sakura entered high school, her hairstyle looked like Mamiko's.

●あの胸に付ける花をもらうまでは帰れない。
 Ano mune ni tsukeru hana wo morau made ha kaerenai
― I can't go home until I get that flower we put on our chests.
