"イチコロ" is short for "一撃でころりと倒れる(ichigeki de korori to taoreru)".
It means one-hit knockout.

Basically the plot is developing by misunderstanding.

So fantastic, I felt like indulging in a dream without end.
Ferdinand's pronunciation sounded good.
And Dandy looked really cool with his hair down.

Do you know what お盆(obon) is?
It is a Japanese Buddhist custom to welcome back the spirits of ancestors who return to their homes around the 15th of August.
I'd say it is similar to Halloween.
It is intriguing that there is a wide regional variation even in the same Japan.
Now, we can learn some names of insects in this episode.

"蓮華" originally means lotus.
Because china spoon looks like a petal of lotus, it is called so.

As expected Hana's Japanese style is pretty regular and simple.

[FYI]
In Japan there's a ticket called "青春18きっぷ(Seishun Juhachi Kippu)", which is a cheap train pass.
It is named "青春", but no age limit.

I just recognized how indecent their names are for the first time when I saw them written on bathing suits.

ED is a cool song. It stays in my head.

●やつらの最終破壊兵器コレーを近々、車検に出すとのこと。
　Yatsura no saishuu hakai heiki CORE wo chikadika shaken ni dasu to no koto
― They will soon be puttin their final destruction weapon, C.O.R.E in for inspection.

Personal cars in Japan have to undergo shaken every 2 years. (only new cars within 3 years)

●そんな弱腰でゴーゴルに勝てるわけがない！
　Sona yowagoshi de Go-guru ni kateru wake ga nai
― There's no way we can beat Gogol with that kind of cowardly attitude!

"弱腰" literally means "weak waist / hip".
In contrast, "強腰(tsuyogoshi)" means "firm stand".

I wanted to see Mikorin wear a sailor uniform.

You can use in ordinary conversation as it is.

●己の無趣味さを噛みしめている。
　Onore no mushumisa wo kamishimete iru
― I ponder my complete lack of hobbies.

The word "己" is manly and old-fashioned, whice means "myself".

噛みしめる literally means "grip one's teeth, chew".

― He relished the joy of victory.

I hear Mount Fuji is a place where foreigners want to go the most in Japan.
It was registered as a World Heritage Site last year.
I have climbed to the fifth station by bus and foot.

●真っ暗な中、ライトで光の列ができていて。

The title is an anagram formed from the initial letters in the names of the main heroines.
OP is one of the high points of this anime.

It's amazing that Naru can eat it raw...

Encouragement of Climb Season 2 Episode 5

I tend to lose interest in slice-of-life anime, but this show is just the right length of time.

●ひなたは昔からね、ドブに落ちたり、自転車で川に突っ込んだりする子だったのよ。
  Hinata ha mukashi kara ne, dobu ni ochitari, jitensya de kawa ni tsukkonndari suru ko datta no yo
― Hinata used to always trip and fall, or ride a bike into the river.

Where is a ditch?
"Trip and fall" will be followed by "into a ditch," but it is omitted.

Punch

It's a summery ｌove triangle anime that P.A. Works is very good at representing.
I can't make myself like some characters, though.

●昔、映画で「年頃の女の子がうつぶせに寝ているのは恋をしている証拠」なんてセリフがあったわ。
　Mukashi, eiga de toshigoro no onna no ko ga utsubuse ni neteiru no ha koi wo shiteiru shouko nante serifu ga atta wa
― There was a line in a movie: "If a girl of age is sleeping on her stomach, It's because she's in love."

原作は『昼下がりの情事』
The movie is "Love in the Afternoon" starring Audrey Hepburn in 1957.
The original line is like this,
"My tabulations show that 86% of the women... who sleep on their stomachs are secretly in love."

One of my favorite anime in this season.
Each of episode is self-contained, so it is easy to watch.

●釣りは鮒に始まって鮒に終わる。
　Tsuri ha funa ni hajimatte funa ni owaru
― Fishing starts with carp and ends with carp.

I have hardly ever been fishing, so I didn't know the phrase.
In the Japanese martial arts, there is a famous phrase,

・礼に始まり礼に終わる。
  Rei  ni hajimari rei  ni owaru
― Start with a bow and end with a bow.

[Example]
・オタクの夏はコミケに始まりコミケに終わる。
  Otaku no natsu  ha comike ni hajimari comike ni owaru
― Otaku's summer starts with comike and ends with comike.

When Japanese hear the word "カープ(Ka-pu, Carp)," the pro baseball team occurs to their minds.
鮒(fune) means not common carp but crucian carp.
Speaking of crucian carp, there is a local specialty called 鮒寿司（funazushi).
I want to try to eat it once.

If you translate 息を合わせる literally, it means "synchronise the breathing."

In a story "大きなかぶ(The Giant Turnip)", they shouts in the same way.

The word "仲良しこよし" is used by or to young children.
A word consisting of seven letters has a nice ring.
