Hello! I have a question. What does "yatsu wo na" mean exactly? I've seen it before, but I couldn't understand it.
ReplyDelete"Iize misete yaruyo otona no otoko no goukyuu tte yatsu wo na"
Your site is awesome btw!
Hi and thanks for your comment! Technically speaking,
Delete"yatsu" [noun] Thing (informal, vulgar)
"wo" [particle] Indicates the direct object of a verb
"na" [particle] At the end of a sentence to confirm a statement
These are used to add casual emphasis, so you can omit some of them as follows: "goukyuu wo"
FYI, the same construction is used in Episode 10.
"Misete yaruyo gaki no asobi to wa kaku ga chigau honmono no koureijutsu tte yatsu wo na"
― I'll show you what it really means to invoke a spirit and not as child's play.
Hope this helped!
Now I get it, thank you!
