Hanayamata Episode 7

ガール・アイデンティティー
― Girl Identity

As expected Hana's Japanese style is pretty regular and simple.

Yoku seishun ha hakanai tte iu kedo watashi ha zettai sonna mainichi ha okuri taku nai

青春: adolescence

In Japan there's a ticket called "青春18きっぷ(Seishun Juhachi Kippu)", which is a cheap train pass.
It is named "青春", but no age limit.

"now "+ -i → ナウい[adjective] :trendy, fashionable
Contrary to the meaning, it became an obsolete word.

It isn't like the phrase "down with the kids" went obsolete too, is it???

●バンドを解散するって?
 Band wo kaisan suru tte
― We're breaking up the band?

→ I can't lie down at night with my feet toward the guys from the former Rakugo Club anymore.

しっぱい: failure → おっぱい(oppai): boobs

That is nicely translated into English.
I remenber a similar line in other anime.
Perhaps that may become used up.

失敗おっぱいって似てると思わない?
Shippai to oppai tte niteru to omowanai
― Doesn't "mess-up" and "breasts-up" sound the same?
