― I-ro-ha-ni-ho-he-to... Chi-ri-nu-ru-wo...
The Iroha (いろは) is a Japanese poem, probably written in the Heian era (AD 794–1179). It is famous because it is a perfect pangram and in the same time an isogram, containing each character of the Japanese syllabary exactly once. Because of this, it is also used as an ordering for the syllabary, in much the same way that the A, B, C, D... sequence traces its origin back to the Phoenician alphabet and its Semitic predecessors. Anyone who can read hiragana can play "iroha-garuta" (いろはがるた). In this type, a typical torifuda features a drawing with a kana at one corner of the card. Its corresponding yomifuda features a proverb connected to the picture with the first syllable being the kana displayed on the torifuda. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Karuta)

[Idiom]
ツーと言えばカー。これ日本の合言葉だよ。
Tsuu to ieba kaa Kore nihon no aikotoba da yo
"Tsu" and "ka." That's the Japanese all-purpose password.

The most convincing theory of the origin is that it derived from the following conversation.

つぅことだ (Tsuu koto da: That's what I mean.)」

It expresses a relationship that they can communicate with each other without explaining the contents.
