  1. Hi aomrsk! Thanks a lot for your blog! It's very interesting and informative. Actually, I'm using it not to learn Japanese, but to translate anime subtitles from English to my native language (Russian). And your blog helps me a lot to clarify some unclear phrases. I have a question regarding this episode. Just before the ending Tippy talks about Cocoa. I've read two translations (from HorribleSubs and from FFF), but still didn't understand what he was talking about. The fact that two translations are quite different doesn't help either. Could you please explain, what did he say?

    1. Hi and thanks for your comment! It's very encouraging for me.
I added Tippy's lines before the ending. He means the visit of Cocoa's sister will cause trouble, and the next episode will be in a mess. Am I making sense?

    2. Oops, sorry. I didn't make it quote clear :-) I meant what Tippy says at around 20:14. Something about Cocoa being both excited and nervous. His son (Chino's father) even said that it was unusually wise. Could you please clarify what he says? Thanks!

    3. I'm sorry I misunderstood!
That means her sister/family can surely see how Cocoa has grown up even if she doesn't trying to show her/them that she is doing a good job as Chino's big sister.
I hope this makes sense now.

    4. Yes, thanks! Now I understand it completely. Quite close to my translation, but now I can refine it even more. Thanks again, and please keep on — your posts are very interesting (I even sometimes read posts about animes I don't watch).
