Punchline Episode 1

― Panty Panic
Panchira (パンチラ) is an expression used by Japanese women to warn each other that their underwear is visible; the term carries risqué connotations similar to the phrase "your slip is showing" in English usage. The word is a portmanteau of "panty" (パンティー pantī) and chira, the Japanese sound symbolism representing a glance or glimpse. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Panchira)

An hour after posting a cryptic threat in a thread with the name "Neomugicha" ("Neo-Barley Tea"; ネオむぎ茶), the 17-year-old hijacked a bus "the Wakakusu" (Nishi-Nippon Railroad Co., Ltd.) in Dazaifu, Fukuoka, Japan, stabbing one passenger to death. The Special Assault Team then stormed the hijacked bus and captured the youth alive. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neomugicha_incident)

パンチパーマちらし寿司
 Panchi paama to chirashi zushi
Punch Perms and Chirashi Sushi
A punch perm (パンチパーマ panchi pāma) is a type of tightly permed male hairstyle in Japan. From the 1970s until the mid-1990s, it was popular among yakuza, chinpira (low-level criminals), bōsōzoku (motorcycle gang members), truck drivers, construction workers, and enka singers. The punch perm began to fall out of usage as a result of its general association with the yakuza, as well as normal fashion trends. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Punch_perm)
Chirashizushi (ちらし寿司, "scattered sushi") is a bowl of sushi rice topped with a variety of raw fish and vegetables/garnishes (also refers to barazushi). There is no set formula for the ingredients; they are either chef's choice or specified by the customer. It is commonly eaten because it is filling, fast and easy to make.
