Himegoto Episode 11

いわゆるガサ入れですわ
Iwayuru gasaire desu wa
― Basically, a Household Search

"がさ入れ" is a jargon used by police.
"がさ" is the reverse reading of "さがす(sagasu: search)."

●私が招待したのは有川君達や1号君だけだったはず。
 Watashi ga shoutai shita no ha Arikawa-kun tachi ya Ichigou-kun dake datta hazu
― I only invited the Arikawas and #1!

●俺が口を滑らせたばっかりに…
 Ore ga kuchi wo suberaseta bakkari ni
― It's all because I let our plans slip out...

にぎやかになるのは結構なことです。
 Nigiyaka ni naru no ha kekkou na koto desu
― It's a good thing for things to be lively.

尋ねてきてくださった方々を玄関先で追い返すような失礼はできません。
 Tazunete kite kudasatta katagata wo genkan saki de oikaesu youna shitsurei ha dekimasen
― We can't be so rude as to chase away visitors at our doorstep.

尋ねる: ask, inquire

●なぁ、どんなあくどいことしたらこんな家に住めるんだよ?
 Naa donna akudoi koto shitara konna ie ni sumerun da yo
― Hey, what kinds of terrible things does one have to do to get a place like this?

あくどい: wicked, foul, unfair, crass, egregious

人聞きの悪いことを言うな!
 Hitogiki no warui koto wo iuna
― Don't say stuff that makes me sound bad!

人聞きが悪い: disreputable, scandalous

●父はまっとうな会社を経営している!
 Chichi ha mattouna kaisya wo keiei shiteiru
― My father has a reputible business!

まっとうな: legitimate

●何もない部屋だが適当にくつろいでくれ
 Nani mo nai heya daga tekitou ni kutsuroide kure
― There isn't much in the room, but make yourselves comfortable.

渋い: sober, calm and profound

●お気遣いなく。座布団は自分で用意しますので。
 Okizukai naku Zabuton ha jibun de youi shimasu node
― Don't trouble yourself. We'll get our own cushions.

座布団: cushion used to sit on the floor

●二人とも似合ってるじゃないか。
 Futari tomo niatteru ja nai ka
― You both look rather good.

By the way, the background hanging scroll reads "男女平等(Danjo byoudou)," which means gender equality.

●「あーれーお代官様ー!」ってやりたくなるね。
 A-re- odaikan-sama tte yaritaku naru ne
― ...a situation where you want to go, "Oh, no, please don't, governor!"

In historical dramas, there is a standard scene where a bad guy such as 悪代官(akudaikan: corrupt bailiff) pulls out (obi: outer belt of a kimono) from a girl, letting her roll.
At the scene, they say, "よいではないか(Yoi deha nai ka: Why not?)","あーれー(A-re-: Oh no)".

●まだが絡まって。
 Mada obi ga karamatte
― We're still tangled in the obis!

●やっと静かになったな、騒がしいのはこりごりだ。
 Yatto shizuka ni natta na Sawagashii no ha korigori da
― It's finally gotten quiet. I'm done with all that rowdiness.
